The Greater Richmond School of Music (GRSM) will provide music instruction through private lessons and group classes at Richmond Prep for the 2018-2019 school year. Instruction for private study will be available for piano, voice, clarinet, guitar, ukulele, bass guitar, double bass, and group classes will be available for piano.
Registration Forms should be scanned and emailed to info@grsm.net or faxed to 866-357-0239. Checks should be mailed to Greater Richmond School of Music (GRSM), 9109 Dickey Drive, Mechanicsville Va 23116. Tuition is payable in full up front or in equal monthly payments. There is a one-time Family Registration Fee of $25. Please call GRSM at 804-442-6158 if you have any questions.
There will be NO CLASSES on Early Closing days or days that Richmond Prep is Closed

Private Lessons
Private lessons provide focused, one-on-one instruction with a master teacher. Lessons are scheduled weekly during the term and are offered in 30, 45, or 60 minute intervals. Recitals are included in tuition and will be held at the end of each semester for all registered students who are interested.
Private Instruction is offered at Richmond Prep at the times listed below. Beginning ages for each instrument varies. Please contact GRSM (804-442-6158 or info@grsm.net) for more information.

Group Classes
Group classes provide a high-quality foundation for musical study. Taught in a small group setting, these classes are an alternative to traditional private lessons and offer an exciting and affordable approach to beginning musical instruction. A minimum number of registrations is required in order to confirm a group class. Learn more about the advantages of Group Classes.
Young Musician
(Gr PK3 -K)
This fun, fast paced class jumps from one activity to another to adapt to your young child’s attention span. Concepts covered include: proper piano technique/posture, note reading, rhythm exercises, theory, singing (with solfege syllables), history, games, listening, movement, and playing with expression. Starting young, children can carry the gift of music with them for a lifetime! The term recital is included in tuition. (30 minutes)
Day of Week: Tuesdays (9/18/18 – 1/22/19)
Students may leave class with permission from Richmond Prep.
Time: 2:30-3:00pm
Tuition: $195 (or $39/month)
Materials: Lesson Book(s), Keyboard/Piano to practice on at home.
