Instrument Sampler
Grades 1-5 | Level: Beginner
Instrument Sampler camp is tailored to beginners, participants will explore a range of instruments and diverse music styles. Dive into hands-on sessions with piano, guitar, ukulele, and percussion while learning music fundamentals. Unleash your creativity and rhythm as you uncover your unique musical voice!

Mini Musical Theater
Grades 2-8 | Level: Beginner to Intermediate
In this camp, students will create their own musical by taking scenes from multiple musicals and weaving them together for a performance on the final day of camp. Campers will work on vocals, acting, stage presence, and costume designs. They will gain valuable music and theater skills in a fun atmosphere.

Piano Adventure
Grades 1-5 | Level: Beginner
Piano Adventure students will explore the world of piano playing, learning everything from basic notes and rhythms to familiar songs and melodies. Campers will develop technique and music reading skills and will present an end-of-week concert. This camp serves as a fun introductory class that leads nicely into private lessons.

Summer Jam I & II
Grades 3-5 | Prerequisite: 1 yr. experience on any Instruments
In this electrifying camp, aspiring musicians of all instruments come together to form dynamic contemporary bands. They’ll explore the world of groove, rhythm, and harmony, learning to play together and listen to each other. Bands will select repertoire and prepare an engaging end-of-week concert.

Guitar FUNdamentals
Grades 2-5 | Level: Beginner
This introductory guitar camp is designed to ignite a love for all things six strings. Young guitarists will develop technique and fundamental music skills while learning fun songs, familiar melodies, and chords.

Uke ‘n’ Roll
Grades 2-5 | Level: Beginner
Learn to play classic songs on the ukulele in just 1 week! Using the Uke ‘n’ Roll method, students will learn songs, playing techniques, and music fundamentals in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Choral Odyssey
Grades 2-6 | Level: All
In this engaging camp, aspiring singers will explore the power of their voices while developing ear training and vocal technique. Students will enjoy the excitement of making music together in a supportive, dynamic environment, singing fun songs from popular musicals and classic Disney favorites.

Mother Goose Meets Dr. Seuss
JK – 1st Grade | Level: All
This camp will feature some of your favorite Mother Goose rhymes and is designed for the young, budding performer. It will incorporate singing, dancing, acting, and a whole ton of fun! There will be a special performance on the last day of camp that you won’t want to miss.

Summer String Thing
Grades 6-12 | Level: Beginner to Intermediate
This bowed string camp is centered around collaborative playing. Students will refine their performance skills, expand their repertoire, and play music in varied ensemble settings. Young musicians will prepare for future auditions by practicing sight reading, skills, improvisation, and music excerpts.

Storytelling through Sound
Grades 1-5 | Level: Beginner
Dive into the wonderful world of Orff instruments and learn to play xylophones, metallophones, and glockenspiels. Explore basic conga drumming technique and become acquainted with some unusual percussion instruments used for special effects.

Rhythm Explorers
Rhythm Explorers introduces campers to the fundamentals of rhythm through hand drumming, pattern building, and collaborative group playing. Campers will explore a variety of percussion instruments while building core rhythmic skills and ensemble awareness in a fun, hands-on setting. This is a great option for kids interested in playing drum set, as it teaches essential coordination skills!

DescriptiNot taking lessons over the summer? Join us for a week of music-making designed especially for current GRSM students who want to stay engaged and keep their skills sharp. Students will play music with other GRSM students, receive guidance and support from our teachers, and enjoy the motivation that comes from making music together in a fun, supportive environment.
